Exposure to acid-suppressive medications (histamine-2 receptor antagonist, proton pump inhibitor) or antibiotics in the first 6 months of life may increase risk of subsequent development of allergic disease, suggests a new study published online April 2, 2018 in JAMA Pediatrics.
